Okay, so we have a new president, my union brothers are basking in thier ignorance ...................he will save us from the the terrible nightmare that the evilone {Bush} has inflicted upon us.....ie... no work, an estimated 1000 or so in my local alone,.. most are ignorant of the real situation, that unions as we know them are dead or dying.{ see uaw } They dont realize that as a culture the unions foster a entitlement mentality, a whirlpool that slowly sucks them down to self enduced poverty. Me ...well I am here for the money ..and it was a good gig for a great many years...but now... I will soon seek greener entreparnureal pastures. As for our new president.... well ,I will suport the office, I will respect the office unlike our liberal brothers did Mr Bush. I will give Mr Obama a chance. However................... I will reserve the right to critisize his decisions and policies. I will also batten down the hatches , so to speak, for I believe..we are...going ....to.....see......a.......wholely .........new ...........thing. I dont know what it will be but I reasonably sure I won't like it.
I see our country moving toward a european model of socialism....We should have never allowed any the previous bailouts and we should not allow any future ones...............It all goes back to that entitlement mentality, if we allow the government to bailout bad business practices its no better than paying soneone top wages for subpar work.
I am afraid this country is going to get just what we deserve............no bailout packages are going to work! We will see major meltdowns in all sectors, the stockmarket,the auto industry, the building trades,.................we are going to see a correction in our economy that will only be resurrected by a return to a strict free market capitalist model.
